We are looking for a Domain IT Specialist to ensure the reliability and security of our enterprise IT and network infrastructure, including Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, Microsoft Intune, FortiGate firewall systems, and hybrid on-premise/Microsoft 365 environments, while also supporting physical network and server infrastructure operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and maintain domain IT operations including AD DS, DHCP, DNS, and GPO configurations under defined standards.
- Deploy and manage Intune endpoint policies — device enrollment, compliance enforcement, and application distribution.
- Perform physical network infrastructure tasks: fiber optic termination, RJ45 cable preparation and metrage calculation, patch panel connections, and cable pathway routing.
- Configure and maintain network switches including VLAN assignments, port configurations, and trunk links.
- Execute server hardware operations: CPU, GPU, RAM, and storage installations; RAID array setup; basic hardware diagnostics and replacements.
- Monitor FortiGate infrastructure status — VPN connectivity, firewall rule compliance, and basic security event review.
- Support hybrid architecture operations involving SharePoint Online, file servers, and Microsoft 365 components.
- Execute backup, disaster recovery, and failover procedures according to predefined plans.
- Maintain network infrastructure across IT and OT segments, ensuring reliable switching and routing connectivity.
- Coordinate with cybersecurity and automation teams on OT–IT convergence preparation tasks.
- Provide tier-1 and tier-2 support for domain infrastructure and client-side help-desk requests.
- Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, network topology, cable schedules, and hardware inventories.
Qualifications
- Degree in a related engineering field (Computer Engineering, Electrical-Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent technical discipline).
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in domain IT operations covering Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy administration.
- Minimum B2 level in English (reading and speaking) for technical documentation and vendor communication.
- Functional knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory administration, including basic domain structure, user/group management, and authentication configuration.
- Working-level understanding of DHCP, DNS, and Group Policy Objects with the ability to apply and troubleshoot standard configurations under guidance.
- Operational competence in Microsoft Intune for endpoint policy deployment, device enrollment, and compliance monitoring.
- Hands-on capability in physical network operations: fiber optic termination and patching, RJ45 cable preparation with correct metrage calculation, patch panel management, and structured cabling standards.
- Practical ability to perform server hardware tasks such as CPU, GPU, RAM, and storage module installation, RAID configuration, and basic hardware diagnostics.
- Familiarity with switch configuration fundamentals including VLAN assignment, port configuration, and trunk setup.
- Operational level Microsoft 365 components management, license assignment and user provisioning.
- Awareness of backup and restore procedures sufficient to execute predefined recovery plans.
- Experienced with FortiGate firewall interfaces for monitoring VPN status and applying preconfigured rules.
- General awareness of Linux environments sufficient for basic file operations and cross-platform connectivity checks.
Computer Skills
- Windows Server 2022/2025 administration at operational level — domain join, user management, basic GPO configuration.
- Microsoft Intune — device enrollment, compliance policy assignment, application deployment at execution level. (Critical minimum)
- Active Directory — OU structure navigation, group membership management, basic replication health checks. (Critical minimum)
- FortiGate firewall — interface navigation, VPN status monitoring, basic rule review.
- Network hardware — switch CLI access (Cisco IOS or equivalent), VLAN configuration, port diagnostics.
- Physical infrastructure — fiber optic OTDR reading comprehension, RJ45 crimping and testing, cable metrage planning. (Critical minimum)
- Server hardware — CPU/GPU/RAM slot identification, drive bay management, RAID controller basics. (Critical minimum)
- Microsoft 365 — user and license management, basic SharePoint and Exchange Online operations.
- PowerShell — ability to run and interpret predefined scripts.
