Karbontürk was established in 2021 with the goal of producing high-quality activated carbon from biomass, a resource that is highly abundant in Turkey. Since October 2023, the company’s initial phase, Phase-0, has been operational with an annual production capacity of 1,400 tons at its industrial facility located in Adana (Yumurtalık Free Zone).

Utilizing state of the art technology, Karbontürk not only produces activated carbon but also generates its own electricity by converting organic waste biomass into sustainable energy.
